Project:
Drilling of two deep wells for geothermal use in the form of a doublet.
Using the geothermal doublet for district heating supply of the cities Simbach am Inn and Braunau am Inn.
The two deep wells are drilled within a distance of 15,5 m from one drill site in Simbach am Inn.
S-B Th 1 as a vertical drilling, S-B Th 2 as a deviated drilling that stretches under the river Inn as far as Austria.

Construction of the doublet Simbach-Braunau (exploration phase):
- Preliminary project management
- Geological feasibility study
- Drafting of documents for the application for EU funding

- Preparation of applications for the operating permit in Bavaria and Upper Austria (e.g.: licence area "Aenus", water and mining law permits, main operating plan)
- Drafting of annual reports (for water authority)
- Drafting of main operating plans
- Numerical modelling of the geothermal doublet operation (e.g.: expert opinion on deep heat mining)
