Project:

Drilling of the deviated well Straubing Therme IIa (deviated from the existing well Straubing Therme II). The well is used as a doublet with the well Straubing Therme I. In addition to geothermal use the thermal water s used for balneological purposes.

Services:

Deviated well:

• Geological/technical detailed planning, application for permits required under mining law and administration of the tendering procedure
• Geological and technical support of drilling and testing activities
• Planning, coordination and support of follow-up activities, such as well acidizing, pumping test, completion
• Preparation of application for permits required by water authorities for the abstraction and injection of deep groundwater from the malm aquifer via the wells Straubing I and IIa.
• Drafting of a popular scientific publication together with the client regarding the deviated well

Doublet trial operation:

• Preparation of application documents for the approval of a marking experiment
• Planning, coordination, implementation and supervision of the marking experiment (injecting of uranin and SF6,3, taking of reference samples).
• Hydrogeological supervision of continuous operation
• Drafting of a geological/hydrogeological expert opinion regarding hydrogeological monitoring during the doublet trial operation

Doublet:

• Preparation of application for permits required under water law regarding the designation of protected areas for the two wells.
• Summarising and editing of existing hydro and balneo-chemical documentation for the wells I and II/IIa for the development of an overall plan for the thermal water system
• Drafting of technical reports for the European Union regarding Straubing IIa (in German and English)
• Preparation of a mine plan for the approval under mining law; organisation of the review by mine surveyors
• Drafting of applications for the approval of geothermal heat development from the geothermal doublet
• Drafting of a final report for the European Union regarding the doublet trial operation in Straubing (in German and English)
