Assessment of the hazard potential regarding deep injection of liquid waste performed by the company OMV AG into the 'Aderklaa conglomerate' – an extensive deep groundwater aquifer in the Vienna basin.

- Collection and evaluation of existing documents
- Determination and explanation of definitions that are to be used from a hydrogeological point of view (creating a glossary)
- Assessment of the hazard potential based on international regulations for deep injection published by the International Association of Hydrogeologists and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. In addition, information from example cases and theoretical model studies was used for the assessment.
- Answering the comprehensive questionnaire of the Federal Ministry and issuing of recommendations
