Project:

The autonomous province of Vojvodina exhibits a high potential of geothermal resources. The municipalities are aware of this potential and are looking for a way to tap this energy resource in the course of a repositioning as tourism destination. Geothermal energy could be used for the heat supply of local facilities or residential areas, for industrial and commercial processes, for the heating of greenhouses and market gardens and thermal water could be used for recreation, health care and rehabilitation.

The objective of the market analysis is to estimate the geothermal potential in Vojvodina according to western standards, the evaluation of the heat requirement, resp. the possibilities for heat supply and the potential touristic use (investments in thermal baths). The export potential towards Austria is presumably very high and a great quantity of orders for Austrian firms in the fields of energy and bath technology and the service industry can be expected.
